Spring/Summer approaching -- Friday February 26th, 2010
As spring and summer are approaching, please remember to keep your animals from running free. When taking your pets out for a walk, they must be on a leash. If they play in the backyard, please be sure the fence is adaquate to keep the animal in. This is a good time to check your fences for any broken boards, loose chainlink or holes that may have been dug under the fence.
Keeping your pets from running free helps to maintain a happy neighborhood. It reduces the number of animal bites, animal nuisances, and animal over population.
Also, please remember to provide shade and water to all outside animals. The weather will be getting hot soon and we don't want allow the outside pets to become overheated.
And, lastly, don't leave your pet in your car when you get out. Please leave your pet at home. The car gets too hot and it will cause your pet to overheat quickly.
